The story
Made from what already exists
Re.born was born from a passion for fashion and a love for creating pieces with meaning.

In our own words
We believe in slow fashion, creating thoughtfully crafted garments in limited quantities rather than mass-producing trends. Every piece is made with care, attention to detail, and a focus on quality over quantity.
Sustainability is a big part of who we are. Whenever possible, we work with recycled and responsibly sourced materials, giving new life to fabrics while creating timeless designs.
Above all, we believe fashion should feel personal. That's why many of our pieces, especially our blazers, are never recreated exactly the same. We want every Re.born piece to feel unique, just like the person wearing it.
Thank you for being part of our journey.

Why we started
A second first day for the cloth
re.born started at a kitchen table with a borrowed machine and a pile of clothes nobody wanted. Fashion makes more than a hundred billion garments a year and buries most of what it can’t sell. We didn’t want to add to that, so we work backwards, beginning with cloth that already exists.
Everything is cut, painted and stitched by hand, here in Cluj-Napoca. Nothing is mass-produced and nothing is reordered. Each piece is photographed once, numbered, and the day it sells is the last day that one exists.

The process
Four moves, by hand
Find → Cut → Restyle → Reborn
01 / 04
Find
We gather second-hand tees, shirts and offcuts from markets and wardrobes around Cluj-Napoca.
02 / 04
Cut
Each garment is opened up and only the strongest cloth is kept. Nothing usable goes to waste.
03 / 04
Restyle
Panels are painted, patched and rejoined by hand, pinned, lettered, studded, made new.
04 / 04
Reborn
Photographed once and numbered. One of one, ready for its second first day.

What we believe
The most sustainable garment is the one that already exists. We just give it somewhere new to go.
