re.born is the upcycling studio of Reborn Restyling SRL, the data controller for this site. We rework discarded cloth into one-of-one pieces and run Sip & Style workshops. When this policy says “we”, that is us.

At checkout.The order and delivery details you enter when you buy a piece: your name, delivery address, email and phone number, plus your order history with us. Payment happens on Stripe’s own secure checkout page, so your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see them and never store them.

When you write to us. The messages you send through the contact, custom order and workshop forms, along with the name and email you give us so we can reply.

Your bag. The pieces in your bag are stored only in your own browser (localStorage on your device). Your bag never reaches our servers, and clearing your browser data empties it.

This site uses no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies, and we never sell your data. The few cookies we do use are covered on the cookie policy page.

To fulfil your order and get it to your door (performance of a contract), to invoice it the way Romanian law requires (legal obligation), to answer the messages you send us and run workshop signups (our legitimate interest in replying to you), and, if we ever start a newsletter, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Stripe processes your payment and holds the order and delivery details you enter at checkout.

Sameday receives your name, delivery address and phone number to deliver your parcel.

Vercel hosts this website, so visits to the site pass through their servers. Resend delivers our notification emails, so form messages pass through it.

Our accountant sees invoicing data, because the law requires invoices to be kept and reported. Instagram holds any conversation you start with us there, under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers (Stripe, Vercel, Resend) are US companies and may process data outside the EU, under the EU-approved safeguards they operate with. We don't transfer your data outside the EU ourselves.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you (access), fix it (rectification), erase it (erasure), hand it over in a usable format (portability), object to a processing (objection), or withdraw a consent you gave us. You can also complain to ANSPDCP, the Romanian supervisory authority.

Order and invoicing records stay as long as Romanian law requires us to keep them. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.
